Offered here is one of the pinnacle's of the guitar playing world. Early L-5's are very sought after and the Premier's (L-5-P) are even more so. I hesitate to call something mint as people are often times quick to point out the smallest faults. For that reason i wont call this mint, but it has to be the next best thing. This one is simply gorgeous. Shows very little wear, not nearly looking like a 75 year old instrument.
The tailpiece has "L 5" etched in and has a "Patent Applied For" on the bottom. The binding is tight and intact all the way around. The pearl inlay and fret board and in great condition. The action is low and the neck is straight.
This is not a guitar for the novice player. But if you are serious about guitars and have been looking for a high end archtop in great condition, look no further. Comes with a hard shell case (not sure if its original).
